Research: The Argos Project

For my Grantwriting class, we were given 5-6 categories of social issues, then asked to pick one and write a grant for a project that would uniquely address an aspect of our issue. Since I chose the Pets with Homeless Owners group, I created The Argos Project, a group that would train volunteers to give vaccinations and first aid care to pets with homeless owners at local shelters. At the end of the semester, my grant was chosen as best in its category by my classmates. This project represents my ability to synthesize research and data into emotional stories that can persuade.
